Meet Our Centre Managers

Lorna
Centre Director at Orchard Road
Hi, I’m Lorna. I’ve been part of the organisation for 2 years and have loved making a positive impact at our Orchard Road centre with my energy and passion for early learning. I began my journey with the service at Mulwala Drive, where I quickly became known for my enthusiasm, professionalism, and ability to support and inspire my team.
As Centre Director, I bring my knowledge, leadership, and experience to support our educators in delivering high-quality learning experiences every day. I’m committed to building strong relationships, maintaining high standards, and helping the centre continue to grow and thrive.
As a mum to two children, I understand how important trust, communication, and confidence are in your child’s early learning journey. I love being part of a team and community that makes every child feel valued and supported.

Amanda
Centre Director at Orchard Road (Maternity Leave)
Hi, I’m Amanda and I have been a part of Butterflies for over 14 years and am one of the owners’ daughters. I have been connected to the service and its values since we opened and I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care. In previous organisations I have worked as a Lead Educator for many years, shaping programs, supporting educators, and nurturing children even before Butterflies began. Since we opened our doors in 2011 I have been in a management position and currently serve as Centre Director at Orchard Road.
I’m passionate about creating a caring, high-quality environment and supporting my team, and I love seeing the positive impact we can have on children and families every day.
I will be on maternity leave in 2026 to welcome my first child but I look forward to meeting you and your family when I return.
